This is a full-time on-site role for an Intermediate Mechanical/Piping Design Engineer based in Port Elgin, ON. The role involves the design and analysis of mechanical and piping systems, utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and ensuring adherence to engineering standards. Key responsibilities include performing inspections, contributing to project development, problem-solving mechanical challenges, and assisting in the maintenance optimization of systems within the automotive and energy industries.

- Strong background in Mechanical Engineering principles and applications

- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for mechanical and piping systems

- Experience in Maintenance and Inspection practices for engineering systems

- Familiarity with automotive systems and related mechanical designs

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required

- Ability to work on-site in Port Elgin, ON

- Experience in CANDU or energy-related systems is an asset
