- Coordinate with piping, electrical, process, and mechanical disciplines to resolve interfaces and align requirements.
- Participate in 3D model reviews; identify clashes and coordinate updates into issued drawings and work packages.
- Support technical inquiries and vendor document review; prepare bid tabulations/technical evaluations for instrumentation packages.
- Coordinate with Automation Services to confirm PLC/DCS I/O lists, marshalling needs, and network/communications requirements.
- Participate in vendor meetings and support FAT/SAT activities; track actions and close technical items.
- Monitor assigned deliverables; escalate changes, risks, and field issues to the Team Lead and Project Manager.
- Support site walk-downs, construction queries (RFIs), and redlines; coordinate as-built documentation updates.
- Support loop checks, pre-startup reviews, and commissioning; assist with troubleshooting and closeout.
- Apply Juno standards, templates, and calculation tools; complete discipline QA/QC checklists prior to issue.
- Contribute to discipline standards and digital libraries; suggest workflow improvements that reduce rework.
- Capture and share lessons learned to improve future project execution.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution; or a Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering Technology.
- 5-9 years of industrial instrumentation experience, including detailed design and construction support for operating facilities and/or new builds.
- Eligible for professional registration (P.Eng. with APEGA, or C.E.T. registration with ASET) or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
- Experience supporting vendor packages, procurement support, and field execution (site walk-downs, RFIs, commissioning support) is an asset.
- Proficiency in instrument sizing, specification, and selection, and loop/installation documentation.
- Experience preparing data sheets, material requisitions, and technical bid evaluations; ability to review and disposition vendor data.
- Working knowledge of PLC/DCS I/O and control integration; comfortable with CAD/PDF mark-up and digital document systems.
