The Instrumentation Mechanic assists in the installation, maintenance, and repair of basic instrumentation and control systems. This entry-level position supports the Instrumentation Section by performing routine tasks and gaining hands-on experience with various instruments and control systems.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of instrumentation equipment under supervision
- Perform routine inspections and basic troubleshooting of instruments
- Support calibration activities by preparing equipment and documenting results
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the instrumentation workshop
- Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures during all tasks
- Document maintenance activities and report any anomalies to senior staff
- Basic understanding of electronic, pneumatic, and control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret simple technical drawings and manuals.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years experience in electronics, electrical controls, HVAC, or instrumentation related to process control equipment or other closely related experience- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a 2-year Trade School in Electronics or HVAC
