Varo Industries is a leading energy services provider specializing in measurement solutions, instrumentation, and LGR/GOR well testing. Proudly based in Grande Prairie, we support clients across the region, including Fort St. John, Dawson Creek, Grande Cache, Hinton, Edson, and Fox Creek.

We’re growing and are looking for motivated Instrument Technician Apprentices and Journeypersons to join our expanding team. If you’re safety‑driven, hands‑on, and eager to advance your skills in a fast‑paced field environment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform gas meter calibrations and liquid meter proving

- Complete product sampling, testing, and analysis

- Conduct shutdown checks and preventative maintenance (PMs)

- Troubleshoot, service, and maintain analyzers and instrumentation systems

- Support a wide range of field instrumentation and measurement tasks

- Ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with industry standards

Qualifications

- Registered Instrument Technician Apprentice or Journeyperson

- Valid safety certifications (H2S, First Aid, etc.)

- Clean Class 5 driver’s license with driver’s abstract

- Ability to pass pre‑employment drug and alcohol testing

- Previous oil and gas experience is considered an asset

- Strong attention to detail with solid organizational skills

- Problem‑solving mindset with adaptability in dynamic field environments

- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

- Availability to work weekends as required
