Propane Ninja is seeking a hands-on PM to lead and scale our installation operations. This role is a true 50/50 split between leadership and execution. It is a growth potential position.
The PM is responsible for working with Field Service Technicians, the Installation Service Coordinator, Permitting Coordinator, and Sales Team, while also supporting field operations when needed, potentially conducting final quality inspections, and ensuring all work meets standards.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining Propane Ninja’s reputation for professionalism, safety, and craftsmanship as we continue to grow across Florida.
Support Field Service Technicians and service support staff.
Foster a safety-first, high-performance culture aligned with the Ninja Standard.
Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance development of service team members.
Serve as a working leader who is visible, approachable, and respected in the field.
Support field service and installation work as needed during peak demand or complex jobs.
Verify installation quality, system safety, and customer readiness before job closeout.
Address field issues proactively to prevent rework, delays, or customer dissatisfaction.
Assist the Installation Service Coordinator and Permitting Coordinator to ensure smooth project flow.
Ensure permits, inspections, and compliance milestones are met on schedule.
Coordinate between sales, operations, permitting, and field teams to keep jobs moving efficiently.
Maintain strong familiarity with propane and natural gas codes, compliance requirements, and safety standards.
Reinforce consistent customer communication, professionalism, and accountability in the field.
Resolve escalated service or customer issues with a calm, solutions-focused approach.
- Protect Propane Ninja from risk through proper documentation, inspections, and corrective actions.
- Installation and service work completed safely, correctly, and on time
- Compliance with NFPA, FDACS, and local permitting requirements
- Reduced rework, callbacks, and inspection failures
- Strong technician performance, engagement, and accountability
- High customer satisfaction and professional brand representation- 3+ years of project management experience in propane, natural gas, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or similar regulated trades (MEP)
- Understanding of field operations, installations, and service workflows
- Working knowledge of code compliance and inspection processes
- Proven ability to lead teams while remaining hands-on and operational
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Valid Florida driver’s license
- Field experience in gas (and/or MEP)
- PERC / CETP certifications
- Experience working with permitting authorities and inspections
- Comfort using ERP or dispatch systems (Odoo a plus)
