Inspection & Packaging Team Member *** Part-Time 1:30 PM - 6:30 PM ***

Sapphire Metal Finishing is a job shop that provides anodizing services to machine shops and hobbyists in the north-west. We are involved in the finishing of electronics, scientific, medical, gun, knife, military, racing and power-sports parts.

Our growing company is looking to add to our production team in our racking department! This is a part time position that will run Monday thru Friday from 1:30 pm - 6:30 pm each day.

Position Summary:

- Inspecting and packing of finished anodized products in accordance with established procedures, specifications and other guidelines.

- Examine parts for defects and blemishes.

- Work with team lead on the schedule and orders for the day.

- Work with team lead on other duties that may need completed within department.

- Will be cross-trained to other departments: Bead Blasting and Masking & Plugging.

- Help keep area clean and perform needed Preventive Maintenance.

- Employees will be trained to the mission and values as well as how to properly and safely perform the tasks they are assigned.

Qualifications:

- High school graduate or GED

- Ability to work with others and help create a positive work environment

- Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic

- Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift 25-50 pounds periodically, and grip, pinch and use hands for the entire workday.

- US Govt. FFL (Federal Firearms License) permits do not allow us to hire individuals with felonies on their record.

- Be able to pass a drug test, including marijuana.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
