Intent: To develop the trainees' sales skills and knowledge base, with the option of growth into an outside sales position within 18-24 months.
· Develop an in-depth knowledge of Jackson Oil & Solvents products and utilize this knowledge to successfully sell Jackson Oil’s products and services to new and existing customers.
· Actively and consistently call on assigned accounts according to established policies and procedures, per expectations guidelines, and their compensation plan, if applicable.
· Sales prospecting from existing or potential customers.
· Execute a sales plan, generated by leadership, that meets or exceeds established sales quotas and supports company revenue and profit targets.
· Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature. Utilizing the tools provided by JOS. (e.g. Sales Order Template)
· Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
· Demonstrates unquestionable integrity in every aspect of work and when dealing with others.
· Communicates and shares information with a professionalism that builds trust and enhances relationships externally and internally.
· Able to successfully manage the input of all sales activity into the company CRM with detailed and accurate information within a required timeframe, including but not limited to all SalesNow activity.
· Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers and internal departments.
· Resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks.
· Collaborates with other sales team members to ensure proper and sufficient coverage is administered to all current and prospective Jackson customers.
· Between two and three years of sales experience.
· A bachelor’s degree in business administration, business management, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
· Demonstrated track record of building and maintaining outstanding customer relationships.
· Must be proficient in using CRM’s and capable of fully utilizing CRM to their fullest potential.
· Must have working knowledge of operating systems and how to navigate them to support sales activities.
