Job Summary
The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for managing the initial stages of customer
inquiries and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of bidding documents before forwarding
them to the estimating department. This role is key to improving efficiency in the estimation
process by minimizing delays and clarifying project requirements upfront.

Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze customer-provided documentation (plans, specifications, etc.) for
completeness and accuracy.
Communicate with customers to clarify missing or ambiguous information in bidding
documents.
Coordinate with the Sales and Estimating teams to ensure that all required documents
are in place before submitting them to the estimating department.
Put together a detailed takeoff / proposal with notes of inclusions and exclusions for
estimating to use in their Estimate / Proposal.
Collaborate with the Estimating department to improve the handoff process for bids.
Provide feedback to customers on timelines and project requirements.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and bidding documentation in the
CRM system.
Support the Sales team in other administrative tasks as needed. CRM input, A360 input.
Coordinate with Operations, Project Engineers, and Engineering on clarity and scope
items
Other responsibilities arise with creation of this new role.
Qualifications:5 years minimum proven experience in inside sales, customer service, or a similar role in
the construction or PEMB industry.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to understand and interpret architectural drawings, plans, and specifications.
Familiarity with bidding processes in the construction industry.
And understanding of MBS and how to relay input information from drawings to MBS.
Ability to build accurate scopes of work and present our proposal if necessary.
Desired Skills
Knowledge of pre-engineered metal building systems.
MBS experience.
Excel experience.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus.
Working Conditions:
Remote or Office environment, with occasional customer site visits or virtual meetings.
