Inside Sales Coordinator – Technical
General Summary:
Daily Thermetrics is seeking a Technical Inside Sales Coordinator to join our rapidly growing inside sales team. This position is responsible for providing admin support with request for quote requests, sales orders, purchase orders, order entry, and building stable client relations. The successful Technical Inside Sales Coordinator will ensure that sales support projects are completed on time to support the Outside sales team, and help ensure confirmation of sales orders. Day-to-day job duties include extensive email and telephone use to communicate with engineers, designers, sales staff, vendors, and client reps.
Key Responsibilities:
•Provide support to Sales Team, assist in the preparation of RFQ’s, RFP’s, and sales order processing.
•Review engineering drawings, specifications, and related data to determine design factors for the purposes of quoting
•Provide sales, client support by working directly with engineers to provide the customer with solutions to their specific applications.
•Build rapport with customers by exceeding service expectations.
•Assist in receiving and entering purchase orders and ensure on-time shipments.
•Maintain close working relationship with sales team and clients to ensure that quotes and orders are turned into confirmed orders.
•Submit and maintain vendor data, manage payment terms, bonds, due dates for deliverables [vendor data/testing documents, etc.,]
•Interact with multiple departments including engineering, drafters, QA, purchasing, & manufacturing
•Contact clients to resolve issues, engineering changes, and sales questions.
•Assist with entering quotes and sales orders in ERP system.
•Other duties as assigned

•Technical Aptitude: Need a strong understanding of technical, engineering terminology, concepts when communicating with costumers regarding highly technical product concepts and engineering changes.
•Quoting and Sales Order Management: strong customer service orientation, project management,
•Communication: Must be able to communicate professionally, effectively with all levels of employees, customers, and management.
•Problem-Solving: Need to be able to identify and resolve safety problems.
•Analytical Skills: Need to be able to analyze data and identify trends, as well as maintain required sales order, customer compliance.

Physical Requirements:
•Physically able to walk and maneuver about as needed, on shop floor, or fabrication shop.
•Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
•Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
Employment Details:
•On-Site, In-Person in a dynamic manufacturing environment
•Monday to Friday from 8AM to 5PM, flexible schedule to accommodate two production shifts
•Will work closely with Engineering and Design team
•Reports to Inside Sales Manager.

•This is primarily a sedentary position, but may require the physical ability to work in a busy shop/warehouse environment including sitting, standing, lifting/moving up to 50 pounds, infrequently.
