The role of the Inside Sales Representative includes but is not limited to serving as the primary backup for any of the inside sales staff positions, responsible for some customer accounts, and handling whatever aspect of sales is needed. Handles all calls and requests for information in a professional manner while working accurately and timely in a deadline-oriented environment. Coordinates with outside sales force, production, shipping, mill management and metallurgist to sell product and service customers. Coordinates mill scheduling of shipments with appropriate departments. Provides timely status updates to customers. Enters customer orders timely and accurately with attention to detail. Able to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
