POSITION: INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

DESCRIPTION OF PRINCIPLE TASKS:

· Customer Service

· Preparation of price quotes using established pricing tools

· Order review, processing and confirmation. Supervision of order-related deadlines

· Adequate/efficient communication with internal, external parties as needed, to ensure timely quoting, order processing, shipments, interaction with customers

· Posting of shipments/invoices as well as related postings in Accounting software

· Order placement with suppliers for sales-related product and services

· Vendor qualifications and periodic re-evaluations

· Participation in marketing efforts, customer gift campaigns

· Report generation as requested by customers and management

· Ability to handle daily customer-related tasks independently

· Upon completion of training:

- Will own group of customers and independently manage related orders/quotes/customer requests pertaining to said customers, deadlines, specific reporting

- Will independently produce/publish weekly, semi-weekly, monthly, quarterly internal and customer-specific reporting

- Will work with internal parties to help streamline processes as needed

- Coordination with shipping and receiving, customers and 3rd parties as needed. Notify/interact with internal/external parties

VENDOR LIAISON

· Contact for general vendors, i.e. janitorial, kitchen/bathroom supplies, uniforms, etc.

GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE

· Visitors and guest sign-in

· Maintaining guest logs

· Primary phone coverage

· Mail distribution

· Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management

· Filing

· Other tasks as assigned by management

REPORTS, DATA TRACKING

· Monthly, daily and periodic reporting - internal and external parties

QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION / TRAINING / WORK EXPERIENCE:

· High school diploma or GED

· Minimum 3 yrs experience in customer service (office environment) or administrative field

· Accounting & inventory knowledge helpful
