IEP is growing our team, and adding a role of Inside Project Coordinator. The successful candidate will be involved in technical equipment sales in a B2B environment. He or She will be contributing to our team of professionals, servicing established account managers and customer accounts from our Crystal, MN office. Company Information: A well established and growing midwest sales company is looking for a full-time Technical Inside Sales / Project Coordinator team member. IEP offers a diverse range of technologies including Pumps, Heat Exchangers, Cooling Towers, Mechanical Seals and other industrial process equipment.

Job Description:

-Serve customers by identifying equipment and service needs while providing excellent customer service

-Support inside/outside sales staff effectively with minimal supervision

-Prepare quotes and process and track equipment orders. Update customers and key peers in schedules, progress, and delays

-Continually learn information related to our products/services, price lists, and vendor products

-Provide technical information for customers concerning products, services, and/or equipment. Training and resources will be provided and available

-Assist in light book-keeping and accounting functions

Responsibilities and Duties:

-Organize small to medium sized projects, proposals, and orders

-Learn and utilize specialty equipment sizing software with on-site training from employee peers

-Respond to customer requests, resolve issues and promote company products and services

-Quote parts to customers, contact and collaborate with key vendors to obtain pricing and delivery

-Place orders with vendors, follow POs from start to finish; ensure accuracy, meet shipping/delivery deadlines and guarantee highest quality customer service

-Maintain and update vendor information and pricing in accounting program

-Train and serve as backup for Office Manager on book-keeping and light accounting functions

Minimum Skills/Qualifications:

-Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; will be working with customers, team-members, manufacturers and vendors via email and on the phone.

-Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision

-Demonstrate forward thinking, planning and enjoys problem solving

-Possess the ability to prioritize and complete projects based on changing specifications and timelines

-Has a keen attention to detail and follows through on tasks

-Be professional and have a great attitude

-Computer skills (typing, data entry, MS Word, MS Excel) and ability to learn specialty software

Additional Info:

Experience with technical drawings and calculations is a plus

2+ years of inside sales, project management, or operations experience and/or a 2-or-4 year degree is preferred

Normal office hours are 8a-4:30p, M-F.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
