Volunteer Welding Supply, Inc, a leading provider of industrial gases and welding supplies, is seeking a full time Inside Counter Sales Representative to join their team in Nashville, TN. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for working with the team to manage and profitably grow our business by servicing our customers at our retail store.

Minimum requirements:

· Excellent customer service and communication skills and a collaborative approach to work

· Must be comfortable taking orders over the phone, in-person

· Understand gross margin, lead times, drop ships, and scheduled routing

· Proficient with PC and MS Office products

· Ability to lift, push, pull or move product weighing up to 100lbs

· Flexibility – overtime as required, occasional weekends

· High School diploma or GED

Preferred qualifications-preferred but not required:

· Bilingual (Spanish) speaking

· Retail store experience

· Welding experience

Essential duties/responsibilities:

· Makes sales, serving customers who visit the retail store

· Answers questions, recommends appropriate product

· Accurately completes and files all necessary paperwork

· Receives payment for merchandise and enters into computer

· Stocks product and moves product for customers

· Makes calls and answers phone

· Other duties as assigned
