Industrial Painter/Sandblaster

Regal Tanks Ltd. / Tidy Steel-Fab Ltd. is seeking a full-time Industrial Painter/Sandblaster to become a key part of our skilled team. This position is for our afternoon shift. Regal Tanks Ltd. was incorporated in 1973 and originally created back in 1943 by our founder Tom Tidy. Since then, we have manufactured innumerable tanks for the liquid storage of Diesel, Gasoline, Jet Fuel & other various chemicals for customers worldwide!

Primary Job Description:

- Perform sandblasting and surface preparation on steel products for industrial painting.

- Operate blasting equipment safely and efficiently.

- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of sandblasting equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

- Mix and apply zinc, epoxy, polyurethane, or tar paint products according to project specifications.

- Conduct body work on steel surfaces as needed.

- Perform quality control inspections and maintain documentation.

- Set up and transfer blasted/painted products between work booths.

- Follow work orders and drawings for painting and blasting requirements.

- Complete ISO documentation for blasted and painted projects.

Requirements:

- Experience in industrial sandblasting and painting.

- Familiarity with Graco 60:1 airless spray pump.

- Ability to work independently and handle workload that may require overtime.

- Certified painter/blaster preferred, Red Seal certification a plus.

- Comfortable working at heights or on ladders.
