Sprays surfaces of products, or working area with protective or decorative material such as paint or enamel by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Read, interpret and apply all paint specifications.
· Applies masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated.
· Applies prime or finish coat to work surface.
· Cleans spraying equipment and brushes with solvent.
· Q & A for profile of steel after blasting, mil thickness (wet and dry), and defective paint application (runs, drips, sags and under painted areas, etc.).

Two years HVLP Airless Spray System experience required.
Language Skills - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Basic understanding of blueprints.
Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Physical Demands - While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment - While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
