Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for executing high-quality painting and finishing work on various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail and a passion for restoring and renovating spaces. This role requires proficiency in both commercial painting and residential projects, ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Duties

•

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed.

•

Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.

•

Restore and renovate existing structures by repairing damaged surfaces and applying appropriate finishes.

•

Perform concrete finishing tasks as required on various projects.

•

Utilize hand tools effectively to achieve precise results in painting and finishing tasks.

•

Understand and apply principles of color theory to select appropriate colors for different environments.

•

Collaborate with other tradespeople, including handymen and construction teams, to ensure seamless project completion.

•

Assist in construction estimating by providing input on material needs and project timelines.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of each project.

Qualifications

•

Proven experience as a Painter with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.

•

Knowledge of various painting techniques, materials, and tools is essential.

•

Familiarity with plastering techniques is a plus.

•

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

•

Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.

•

Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.

•

A valid driver’s license may be required for travel between job sites.
