Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

Fred Weber, Inc. is currently seeking skilled professionals for our Industrial Services Group that specializes in fabrication, erection, plant builds and maintenance for the mining and aggregate processing Industry as well as cement, power, and manufacturing facilities. Our Headquarters are located in St. Louis, Missouri and our projects and customer base span nationwide.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Follow, adhere, and contribute to all MSHA / OSHA and Company health and safety policies.

- Experience in the mining and aggregates industry, heavy industrial and structural fabrication and erection.

- Strong welding, cutting, metal working, and rigging skills are required.

- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

- An ability to read and interpret technical documents and plans

- Work well within a team environment

- Troubleshooting mechanical issues

- Assembly of plant systems and component alignment experience

- Proficiency in Mig, Tig, and stick welding required

- Any type of field certifications are a plus, our company will provide on the job training and technical instruction when required.

Position Requirements

- Day and potential night shift operations

- Willing to work five days a week and overtime as needed including some weekends

- Good work ethic, self-motivated and a team player

- Experience installing, dismantling, maintaining complex industrial machinery, heavy equipment and plant operations

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills

- Employees must pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00 - $43.51 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
