Opportunity Snapshot:
•Compensation: $45-55.00/hour
•Assignment Duration: 6 months+
•Work Schedule: 7/7 Rotation (Must be able to work a day shift, then night shift rotation)

Qualifications:
•3 - 7 years of experience in an industrial laboratory. Possess good laboratory practice skills
•2 years of experience with Gas Chromatographs for hydrocarbon sampling and analyses preferred
•2 years of experience with cooling tower/water treatment
•Must be experienced in the use of PC equipment and software including LIMS, SAP, Windows and MS Office products
•Strong commitment to HSE with the ability to inspire and lead others. Must be able to read, understand and adhere to HSE policies, including SDS systems. Trained in emergency response. Strong commitment to HSE with the ability to inspire and lead others. Basic First Aid, Incident reporting, Confined Space Entry, Breathing Apparatus, Emergency Response Plan, SDS
•Effective written/verbal technical communication skills
•Organized at keeping detailed records. Good analytical problem-solving skills. Active learner; Self-starter/motivated
•Ability to receive and follow work instruction from supervisors. Ability to follow operating procedures
•Troubleshooting/analytical skills with the ability to logically work through process problems and upsets
•Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment
•Strong Planning skills, Operation and maintenance of both laboratory and online gas chromatographs
•Knowledgeable in the use of SAP systems
Responsibilities:
•Obtain frequent samples and analyze all incoming and outgoing LNG/Natural Gas at Stratton Ridge, Docks, Pre-Treatment, Liquification, Underground Storage, and Storage & Trucking facilities
•Report the results to the Process Engineer/Gas Controller
•Sample and analyze rainwater and process water contained in the process area and will report these results to the Regulatory Group. Operate and maintain all instruments required to run these analyses
•Coordinate with Operations and Maintenance, for non-routine analysis for troubleshooting and/or safety purposes
•Responsible for all laboratory analyses, sampling, record keeping, and reporting
•Operate and maintain online and laboratory gas chromatographs and other various meters
•Analyze LNG received, various in process samples, and outgoing products for inventory management and compliance with specifications
•Obtain hydrocarbon and/or water samples
•Maintain product samples as required by customer agreements
•Coordinate any required third-party laboratory services
•Maintain detailed laboratory records by hardcopy, LIMS, and Content Server
•Participate in audits required for ISO certification and Regulatory Agencies
•Monitor and maintain laboratory consumables, including bottle gas inventory for laboratory and online analyzers
•Work with surveyors/inspectors for product ships
•Write and/or review laboratory procedures
•Maintain and provide accurate analyses required by facility LTAs and governmental regulations
•Coordinate Laboratory waste pick up
•Analyze Dew Point Readings in the field for troubleshooting purposes
•Comply with all facility safety, environmental, and health requirements
•Complete facility specific training and duties as assigned by site supervision
•Attend routine Safety meetings and updates
•Assert and follow all Life Saving Rules
•Perform other duties as assigned and deemed necessary by facility supervision
•Must have the ability to drive a motor vehicle in order to perform the duties required at all Client locations
•Must be able to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, work scheduled and unscheduled overtime
•Ability to obtain and maintain work authorization/security clearance through a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC)
