Electrical Lab Technician

Job Title: Electronic Lab Technician Location: Onsite – Manassas, Virginia Rate: $40/hour Duration: 12+ Months Start Date: ASAP Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated DC Lab Technician to join our team onsite in Manassas, VA. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in electronic testing labs, hardware validation, and system-level debugging. You will be supporting development and testing efforts for advanced server and computing platforms. Responsibilities Assemble, build, and install benchtop development platforms and server systems Prepare boards for detailed solder reworks (performed by other lab staff) Connect oscilloscope probes to boards and collect waveform signal data Perform basic mechanical reworks using tools such as a Dremel Run system tests, collect/report test results, and screen modules and boards Support shipping/receiving logistics and maintain inventory of lab equipment/materials Maintain lab organization and suggest improvements to lab processes Requirements Associate’s, Bachelor’s degree, or certification in a related technical field (or equivalent experience) Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in an electronics or testing lab (e.g., silicon bring-up, board/system validation) Knowledge of computing architectures and experience in hardware/software debugging Comfortable with Linux command line Familiar with board bring-up and customer-facing support Strong attention to detail and effective written/verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with BMC and server management processors Familiarity with basic networking and server maintenance Ability to perform basic solder reworks Proficient with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, schematics) Exposure to x86/ARM architectures and GPU acceleration technologies

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
