Summary

We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team at Fireside Minerals. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our mineral testing processes, contributing to our commitment to responsible mining practices.

Responsibilities

•

Conduct laboratory tests and analyses on barite samples to ensure quality standards are met.

•

Collect and record data accurately for analysis and reporting purposes.

•

Perform quality control checks to maintain the integrity of laboratory results.

•

Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports for management review.

•

Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

•

Collaborate with other team members to improve testing procedures and efficiency.

Requirements

•

Degree or diploma in a relevant field such as chemistry or geology is preferred.

•

Strong experience in laboratory environments, particularly in mineral analysis.

•

Proficient in data collection and quality control processes.

•

Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.

•

Basic math skills for data analysis and calculations.
