Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Recruiter to join our team at Miller Bros Solar LLC. In this role, you will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment for a wide range of technical, field, and corporate roles. You’ll play a critical role in supporting our national growth strategy by sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent across the renewable energy sector. This is a high-impact role requiring strong collaboration with hiring managers, a proactive sourcing mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
Responsibilities
•Partner with department heads and field leadership to understand current and future hiring needs across all departments (field operations, performance engineering, technical services, safety, corporate support, etc.)
•Own the full-cycle recruitment process: intake meetings, job postings, sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, offer management and employee onboarding support
•Proactively source passive candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, events, and industry networks with a focus on technicians, engineers, project managers, and corporate roles
•Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for current and future needs, especially for recurring field roles like PV and BESS Technicians and Site Managers
•Ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout the hiring process
•Coordinate pre-employment screenings, background checks, and onboarding handoffs
•Monitor recruiting KPIs (time-to-fill, source of hire, offer acceptance rate, etc.) and recommend process improvements
•Represent the company at job fairs, industry events, and networking functions as needed
•Stay current on recruiting trends in renewable energy, solar, BESS, and skilled trades
Requirements
•3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in the renewable energy, energy, or skilled trades industries
•Proven experience with full-cycle recruitment in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
•Experience sourcing for technical and field-based roles (PV Technicians, BESS Techs, Engineers, Electricians)
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
•Proficiency with ATS platforms and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.)
•Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
•Ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously across different geographic regions
•Self-motivated, collaborative, and adaptable in a growing, evolving company environment
