In-house Electrician/Industrial Machine Technician +5 YR EXP REQ

We are looking to expand our current machine repair department. Our team is looking for experienced electrical/industrial machine repair technicians to build our staff. As an Electrical/Industrial Machine Repair Technician with over 5 years of experience, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems for industrial machinery to ensure optimal performance and production efficiency. Your core skills in mechanical knowledge, and electrical experience will be essential in troubleshooting and resolving issues with equipment. Utilizing premium skills as an electrican, you will contribute to the smooth operation of manufacturing facilities. Your relevant skills in high and low voltage systems, field service, and customer service will be valuable in providing timely and effective maintenance solutions. The responsibilities of an electrical/machine maintenance technician are as follows:

Responsibilities

Electrical maintenance and repair of production equipment

Ability to locate and correct defects in electrical systems and equipment.

Familiarity with electrical ladder schematics, ability to read and trouble shoot.

Perform machine repair with troubleshooting, dis-assembly / re-assembly, and repairing equipment

Basic Requirements

Machine repair / electrical and mechanical trouble shooting, and mechanical experience.

Supply/provide your own basic hand tools and be capable of using hand tools.

Be physically capable of climbing and working from ladders.

Be able to stand in place, crawl, stoop, balance and lift (50lbs) on a daily basis

Able to fix machinery/hydraulics and pneumatics

Able to problem solve, troubleshoot to root cause and have time management skills.

Good communication skills, attendance, team player.

Have basic computer skills.

Be able to read and understand job instructions, repair manuals, safety rules, etc.

Be able to operate a Hi-Lo and Scissor Lift

Follow all safety rules.

Have valid driver’s license

This is skilled electrical work at the journeyman level in the installation, alteration, and repair of electrical systems, equipment and fixtures. This employee is responsible for electrical servicing and efficient maintenance of production machinery and equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $37.00 per hour
