In-Home Solar Sales Consultant

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic In-Home Solar Sales Consultant to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving our mission to promote sustainable energy solutions through direct sales and customer engagement. As a consultant, you will be responsible for educating potential customers about solar energy benefits, conducting in-home consultations, and guiding them through the purchasing process. Your ability to connect with customers and provide tailored solutions will be key to your success.

Duties

- Conduct in-home consultations with potential customers to assess their energy needs and present solar solutions.

- Utilize outside sales techniques, including door-to-door outreach, to generate leads and build relationships within the community.

- Leverage CRM software and Salesforce to manage customer interactions, track sales progress, and maintain accurate records.

- Demonstrate strong negotiation skills to close sales effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.

- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.

- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that enhance outreach efforts and improve lead generation.

- Stay informed about industry trends, product offerings, and competitor activities to effectively position our solar solutions.

- Exhibit leadership qualities by mentoring new team members and sharing best practices within the sales team.

Requirements

- Proven experience in outside sales or technical sales; experience in solar or energy sales is a plus.

- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully.

- Familiarity with CRM software and Salesforce for managing customer relationships.

- Excellent customer service skills with an ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.

- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to cater to a broader audience.

- Experience in marketing or door-to-door sales is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
