Note: This role is a temporary role that ends Jan 2027.

What You Will Do:

- Build proficiency with the use of in-house and industry recognized hydraulics engineering tools.

- Conduct hydraulic studies using modelling software to analyze pipeline systems for design and maintenance issues, develop solutions, and issue formal technical recommendation s.

- Assist engineers in conducting technical reviews, with a focus on hydraulics engineering, at various stages in project life cycle gating process.

- Provide engineering support by participating in hydraulics engineering activities related to operation and help troubleshoot hydraulics problems within assigned asset areas.

- Support scope development of pipeline and facility projects.

- Ensure effective and proactive communication is maintained with all internal and external stakeholders.

- Learn and support trans-thermal hydraulic modelling on thermally sensitive assets. Frequently validate and calibrate thermal capacity models.

Who You Are:

- Completion of a degree in Engineering (Process, Chemical, Petroleum, Mechanical, or related degree).

- Registered as an Engineer-In-Training with APEGA or eligible to register.

- 2-4 years of engineering experience.

- Experience working with DNV Synergi Pipeline Simulator (SPS) software is an asset.

- Effective interpersonal skills to communicate technical analysis and recommendations to a diverse audience.

- Self-motivated and proactive, able to thrive in a dynamic work environment and meet deadlines .

Working Conditions:

- Office environment with up to 5% travel.
