We are seeking an experienced
HVAC Technicianto support commercial and industrial facilities in Wilton, CT. This role involves performing
preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenanceon a variety of HVAC systems while also providing support across multiple trades, including plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.
The ideal candidate is skilled in commercial HVAC service, knowledgeable in controls and system operations, and comfortable working directly with clients while delivering high-quality service.

- Perform complete
preventative maintenance
on commercial HVAC systems, including package units and split systems.
- Inspect, repair, and replace belts, pulleys, motors, heat exchangers, and other mechanical components.
- Diagnose and repair issues related to steam/hot water boiler systems, airflow, and ducting.
- Handle refrigerants in an
EPA-compliant
manner and support safe, efficient system operations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and system failures involving compressors, condensing units, circuit boards, controls, and copper brazing.
- Maintain, test, and repair
AC motor controls
; install and troubleshoot
VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives)
.
- Complete work orders, asset inspections, and service reports with accuracy and detail.
- Utilize tablets/smartphones for documentation, communication, and workflow management.
- Provide excellent customer service, maintaining strong communication with clients and internal teams.
- Follow all OSHA standards, safety procedures, building codes, and compliance requirements.
- Perform additional multi-craft maintenance tasks as assigned.
- High School diploma or trade certification in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or related field.
- 5+ years of experiencein commercial, industrial, or manufacturing HVAC service.
- EPA Universal Certification required.
- Strong understanding of HVAC controls, sequence of operations, and commercial systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and system failures.
- Experience with AC motor controls and VFD installation/troubleshooting.
- Proficient in reading instructions, safety manuals, and technical documentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage with clients effectively.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA standards.
