About the Role:

We are seeking skilled and experienced Machine Operators to join our Production Team. You will be responsible for operating our Coil Line and/or Spiral machines which are essential to our sheet metal fabrication process. As part of our Sheet Metal team, you may be asked to cut, form, and assemble ductwork as well.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain Duct Coil Line and/or Spiral machines

- Meet production schedules

- Ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency in production

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

- Maintain a clean work environment

- Perform preventative maintenance

- Cut, form, and assemble sheet metal when needed

Equipment Overivew:

- Duct Coil Line: A fully automated machine that processes sheet metal coil into rectangular duct sections. It performs multiple operations such as cutting, notching, folding, and forming flanges, allowing for high-volume, precise production of rectangular ductwork.

- Spiral Machine: A specialized machine that forms continuous strip steel into round or oval spiral duct. It produces strong, airtight ducts by mechanically locking the spiral seam, making it ideal for HVAC systems requiring durable and efficient airflow.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience operating sheet metal machinery (Coil Line, Spiral or similar equipment)

- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

- Experience performing preventative machine maintenance

- Welding experience a plus

- Solid problem solving and decision making skills

- Effective time management

- Punctual and reliable with a good work ethic

- Trustworthy, willing to learn, committed to quality & customer service

- Value teamwork and be able to work independently with need for little supervision

- Great communication skills

- Able to work Monday through Friday from 5 am to 3 pm. (40 to 50 hours per week)

- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift 50 + pounds
