Position Summary:
Sell commercial equipment with emphasis on applied systems, VRF, controls, and healthy building system controls to identify and develop business opportunities to grow commercial sales. Provide engineering support and design assistance to engineers, architects, contractors and end users. You will be responsible for building relationships with key decision-makers, specifying and proposing HVAC equipment solutions, and ensuring project success through collaboration.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
•Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow assigned customer and contractor accounts within your territory.
•Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the commercial HVAC market.
•Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key personnel at engineering and architecture firms working with the project owner or owner’s representative.
•Provide technical expertise and support to customers, including system selection, equipment application, and problem-solving.
•Prepare proposals and pricing based on customer requirements and project specifications.
•Manage project schedules and ensure efficient communication with customers and internal teams.
•Conduct presentations to educate and train customers on HVAC solutions from their leading manufacturers.
•Stay up to date on industry trends, product knowledge, and manufacturer offerings.
•Participate in factory training programs to maintain expertise on equipment and software.
•Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
•Manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
•Travel to customer locations, job sites, and attend industry events.
Critical Knowledge and Skills:
•Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, applications, and equipment selection software.
•Excellent sales and customer service skills with a proven track record of success in the B2B environment.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•Ability to learn and utilize manufacturer-specific HVAC software.
•Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills both one-on-one and in group settings.
•Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
•Reliable transportation and a professional demeanor.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
•Proven ability to handle conflict resolution professionally.
Education and Experience:
•Bachelor's degree preferred
•Experience in HVAC sales preferred

•This position requires travel throughout the assigned territory.

•A current and valid driver’s license is required.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
