Electrical Estimator

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction estimating and project management, with the ability to build accurate cost estimates for various projects. This role requires proficiency in industry-standard software and a solid understanding of construction contracts and specifications. The Estimator will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree is preferred or 5+ years’ experience as an Electrical Estimator. Must understand the entire construction process design, budget analysis, document interpretation, design build, value engineering and negotiated projects. Data Systems knowledge is a plus.

Preferred Skills

Attention to Detail, Thoroughness, Organization, Excellent Communication Skills,

P.C. Proficient (MS Word, and Excel, Intellibid Bidding system, Adobe Acrobat) Ability to Read and understand drawings, plans and specifications.

Work Environment

This job is mainly professional office atmosphere. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, computers, phones, photocopiers, filling cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

This is largely a sedentary role; you must be able to sit for long periods of time using computers.

There is also filing required which will include bending and reaching as necessary.

Pay: $57,896.00 - $65,000.00 per year
