Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our workforce strategy and fostering a positive work environment. This position requires a strong understanding of human resources practices, workforce management, and change management. The Human Resources Manager will collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance with employment laws. This person will also oversee our El Paso, TX division with an HR Generalist located there. You will also be responsible for all items related to safety.
Duties
•Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.
•Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing candidates, and onboarding new employees.
•Oversee employee relations, addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace culture.
•Maintain and manage ADP (Workforce now) systems to ensure accurate employee records and data management.
•Ensure compliance with FMLA regulations and other employment laws.
•Implement workforce management strategies to optimize staffing levels and productivity.
•Conduct training sessions on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
•Handle new hire orientation
•Prepare all termination documents and send information to 3rd party for COBRA.
•Collaborate with leadership on change management initiatives to support organizational growth.
•Work with all consultants/brokers such as Safety Consultants, Insurance Brokers, Temporary Agencies, attorneys etc.
Experience
•Proven experience in human resources management 10+ years experience in HR Management.
•Strong knowledge of ADP Workforce now systems, Microsoft Office products
•Familiarity with FMLA regulations and CT Paid Leave.
•Excellent interviewing skills with the ability to assess candidate fit effectively.
•Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
•Knowledge of employee benefits such as Insurance, 401(k), Worker's Compensation.
