Summary

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to expand our Human Resources team at Sho-Me Power Electric Cooperative. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Human Resources division across several key areas including administration, benefits, compensation, compliance, and recruitment. This role is ideal for candidates with strong attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills. Your expertise will play a vital role in supporting our mission of providing reliable energy and telecommunications services.

What You'll Be Doing

- Maintain personnel records

- Post job openings, tracking applications, and assisting with recruitment

- Coordinate orientation, onboarding, and offboarding

- Administer employee engagement initiatives

- Perform compensation evaluations

- Participate in compensation and benefit surveys

- Assist in internal audits and compliance reporting

- Administer leave programs

- Assist with benefit administration and training coordination.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills:

- Associates degree required in Human Resources or related field and two (2) years of HR experience; five (5) years work experience in HR related roles may be substituted for degree

- HR professional designation (HRCI &/or SHRM) or ability to obtain designation within six (6) months of employment

- Advanced HR knowledge across the employment lifecycle, attention to detail, documentation, and compliance tracking skills

- Advanced MS Office and IT skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human resources or related field

- Work experience in HR Generalist role

Pay: $82,661.00 - $103,327.00 per year
