We are seeking an HR Generalist to provide comprehensive HR support for our Virginia Beach, VA location. This role will focus on day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and supporting local leadership to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
· Administer core HR functions, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.
· Manage recruiting activities such as job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and new hire orientation.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on policies and procedures.
· Handle employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and ensure compliance with employment laws.
· Administer benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, COBRA notifications, and respond to employee benefit inquiries.
· Support payroll processing and coordinate with corporate HR for accuracy.
· Maintain HRIS systems, including data entry, timekeeping, and generating routine reports.
· Prepare and maintain accurate HR documentation and personnel files.
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
· Assist in creating and administering personnel procedures and policies.
· Drive continuous improvement in HR processes by implementing HR-driven systems.
· Manage talent acquisition streams, including job listings and creative sourcing techniques.
· Cultivate and manage relationships with recruiters, universities, and other talent sources.
· Design and manage regular training programs and research new training opportunities for leadership review.
· Administer compensation, benefits, HR plans, and other incentive programs.
· Create and manage internal communication channels for events, policies, hires, and HR initiatives.
· Track and report HR metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
