This position will provide coverage for a 12-month maternity leave, beginning in early August.
Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Administrator will provide support for day-to-day HR and Health and Safety activities.

What You'll Do:
•Support leaders and employees within the organization by being the first point of contact for all HR-related questions and concerns.
•Support the delivery of the recruitment process for all hiring needs, including working with the leadership team to create job descriptions, source talent, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews.
•Lead the onboard and offboard process for employees, including preparing required documentation, creating notifications, administering orientation, and completing exit interviews etc.
•Aid with reviewing and updating all HR documents, policies, and procedures.
•Prepare and present HR updates to all staff in monthly toolbox meetings.
•Act as a member of the Social Committee while taking full responsibility for coordinating and leading monthly lunches at each facility.
•In collaboration with the Payroll & Benefits Administrator, be a point of contact for benefit queries.
•Provide administrative support for Argus’ internal Employee Share Ownership Program (ESOP).
•Prepare minutes for monthly Leadership and Joint & Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) meetings.
•Provide administrative support to the Health & Safety Advisor.
•Other HR & Administrative tasks as required.
What You Bring:
•Post-secondary education in Human Resources.
•3-5 years of experience in Human Resources.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to work independently with the ability to prioritize activities based on the needs of the business.
•Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
•A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required as this role involves supporting both our Edmonton and Nisku locations.
Working Conditions:
•Office environment with extended sitting and computer use.
•Working personal protective equipment while walking the production floor, as required.
