HSSE Advisor - USA

Reporting to: HSSE Manager - USA

Based in: Houston, TX

The position holder will be required to support the implementation and sustainability of the HSSE Program for the US Projects and Operations, with up to 50% travel to company locations.

What will you do?

- Contractor Safety: Participate in the pre-qualification assessment and ongoing monitoring activities

- Training: Develop HSSE related training materials for delivery to field personnel

- Coaching: Provide coaching to new employees on company HSSE requirements

- Auditing: Manage the annual audit program and participate/lead HSE audits

- Reporting: Lead the collation of weekly and monthly HSSE reports

- Incident Management: Support field sites in the completion of incident investigations

What do we need?

- Availability to travel up to 50% to company sites within the US (mainly in Texas)

- 10+ years’ experience with proven results in delivering HSSE Management System

- Experience in industrial sites, preferable with construction safety experience

- Demonstrated experience in HSSE auditing, incident investigations and training is required.

- Bachelor’s degree, preferable

- Formal qualification/training in a health, safety or environmental discipline

- Formal certification or ability to obtain certification within 2 years e.g. CSP, IIRSM
