The HSE Supervisor provides regional support for the company's HSE initiatives and oversight to both operations management and field staff. Provides leadership in implementation, development and administration of safety practices, policies and training through various methods.
· Conduct regular HSE inspections of company facilities and locations to ensure they meet company and regulatory compliance. Document inspections and assist management in developing corrective action plans. Follow up on completion of action plans.
· Implement assigned responsibilities as defined by the HSE Manager
· Coordinate training of employees, including new hire orientations, on HSE requirements to ensure compliance with regulations
· Provide requirements for PPE inventory including research of new/additional equipment as required
· Communicate safety standards to workers at work sites to ensure compliance with Company, Government Legislation and Industry Standards
· Manage and support safety meeting processes, both at facility and at field work sites
· Ensure required HSE reporting is completed on time and accurately
· Maintain facility/site Safety Data Sheet (SDS) files
· Work with high integrity and comply with corporate guidelines on business ethics
· Develop and maintain relationships and communication channels with assigned business units
· Maintain and update necessary certifications and training as deemed necessary by the HSE Manager
· Assist in maintaining, tracking and trending of safety statistics
· Attend all HSE meetings, and be prepared to present at any other required venues as deemed necessary
