About This Job

The HSE Coordinator under direct supervision of Operations leadership, the Coordinator is responsible for the implementation of health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines as instructed.

•

Pay Rate: $35.31 – $36.03/hour, depending on experience

•

Assignment Length: 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors

•

Shift Details: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm |5X2 or 14X7 Rotation | On call rotation

Responsibilities:

•

Identify potential hazards and implement risk management strategies to ensure a safe working environment.

•

Report, investigate, and analyze incidents to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences.

•

Develop and implement strategies to minimize waste and prevent pollution.

•

Participate in emergency response activities and ensure compliance with all HSE regulations.

•

Oversee the integrated management system (HMS) to meet company and industry standards.

•

Conduct and participate in internal, regulatory, and customer audits and inspections.

•

Maintain accurate records and perform general administrative tasks as required.

•

Provide technical advice, interpret data, and offer training to improve processes.

•

Travel to local well sites 2-3 hours in the surrounding area (Permian Basin)

Qualifications:

•

Requires a 4-year Undergraduate Degree in an HSE-related field, Science, or Engineering.

•

Minimum of three years in Oil & Gas or Manufacturing, with proven experience in completions (frac) preferred.

•

Completion and drilling knowledge, including Frac and Cement.

•

Ability to navigate lease roads and follow directions.

•

Proficient in conducting inspections and audits.

•

PEC Safeland, H2S, and a valid Driver's License.

•

Ability to coach and mentor on OSHA regulations.

•

Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and maintain flexibility in a dynamic environment.

•

Proficient in incident investigation and case management.

•

Must be able to interact professionally with all levels of employees within Halliburton.

•

Office/Field split of 20/80, with proven experience in both settings.

•

Company vehicle, PPE, and Man Camps available for this role.
