About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Adairsville team. This role will support the HR Manager in day-to-day operations, ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, and provide direct assistance to our Talent Acquisition function. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values accuracy, and enjoys building positive relationships across all levels of the organization. This position will be based in Adairsville but will also require occasional travel to our Tucker, GA, location.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Compliance & Administration
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist with audits, reporting, and recordkeeping requirements.
- Help enforce HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
- Talent Acquisition Support
- Assist the recruiter in scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communications, and assisting in onboarding activities.
- Ensure smooth pre-hire and post-hire processes.
- Employee Relations & Support
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and HR procedures.
- Assist in handling routine employee relations matters with guidance from the HR Manager.
- Support training initiatives, wellness programs, and employee engagement initiatives, and maintain a positive work environment.
- HR Operations
- Maintain employee records within HRIS.
- Participate in various HR projects and take part in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to HR projects as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 2 years of HR experience required
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
- HRIS experience (BambooHR or similar) a plus.
