The HR Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to recruiting, pre-employment screening, interviews, employee records, and responding to routine HR questions from the field. This position provides excellent customer service and serves as a liaison between HR Shared Services, HR Business Partners, and employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists in sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews for various positions
- Assists with onboarding of all new employees, such as scheduling pre-employment drug and alcohol tests, background checks, and physicals as well as verifying I9’s and pre-employment documents
- Maintains effective communication with clinics to ensure proper documentation is received for pre-employment screenings and promptly address any issues as needed
- Updates onboarding tracker daily, verifying where each candidate is in the onboarding process
- Works closely and proactively with the HR Business Partners to provide candidate updates and solutions to onboarding issues
- Attend and assist in New Hire Orientation weekly
- Assists candidates and employees with translation via written and verbal in both English and Spanish
- Submits and tracks all employee lifecycle workflow requests, such as Request to Hire, Authorization to Hire, Personnel Status Changes, and Terminations, for approval
- Maintain and organize electronic HR folders and files
- Support HRIS system projects and initiatives
- Provides direct support to company employees, other HR team members and company management as part of a centralized function to handle a variety of HR-related questions
- Travel 10-15%
- Other duties and projects as assigned
- Associate’s degree in HR or related field required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Bilingual (English Spanish), required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to deal with employees at all levels
- Must exercise the highest level of confidentiality
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and Excel
- Must complete and pass all required pre-employment screenings
