Ward Electric Company is currently hiring a full-time, team-oriented HR Administrator to work out of the company’s Longmont, Colorado office.
The HR Administrator is responsible for making a positive first impression on new hires by creating a warm welcome and providing strong service orientation while onboarding new hires as well as providing administrative support to the HR team.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding tasks
- Instruct and assist new hires/rehires in completing onboarding paperwork
- Ensure all new hire paperwork is completed and submitted
- Effectively communicating policies, procedures, and benefits to new hires
- Complete E-Verify
- Maintain full cycle organization of employee records
- Assist in the maintenance of HR forms or documents
- Backup for the Safety Administrator
- May assist in maintaining the department’s intranet site to ensure information is updated
- Performs other work-related duties as required
- Two years of Human Resources experience in administrative roles in a construction setting strongly preferred
- Experience with mass, full cycle onboarding
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Self-starter and highly motivated
- Exceptional time management, organization, prioritization, and attention to detail
- Advanced PC skills required, including a solid understanding of Microsoft Suite Office Suite
- Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of the Human Resources department and employee information
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with minimal oversight
- Ability to consistently convey a positive and professional image
- Timeliness and consistent attendance
- Mechanic aptitude of standard office equipment
- Powerline Industry knowledge experience helpful
- Typical office environment
- Standard office hours but may require occasional over time
This position will involve extended keyboarding time. Position requires the successful candidate to be able to move frequently.
