We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our Human Resources team as an Entry-Level HR Administrator. This role is ideal for someone starting their career in HR and eager to learn and grow within the field. The HR Administrator will assist in the day-to-day operations of the HR department, supporting various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and general administrative tasks.
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and coordinating communication with candidates.
- Schedule and support 30-day, 90-day, and exit interviews for employees.
- Ensure Compliance with federal regulations regarding I-9.
- Conduct DISA background checks and ensure all pre-employment screening is completed.
- Monitor and follow up with employees missing benefit documents; upload completed forms into employee files.
- Maintain and update employee records, including uploading discharge and correction warnings.
- Support benefits administration, including updating HRIS with 401(k) contributions, and 401(k) loans.
- Organized employee engagement activities such as holiday contests (e.g., Halloween and Christmas).
- Answer incoming HR calls and direct them to the appropriate individual.
- Send out building wide communications and assist with internal announcements.
- Provide general administrative support such as preparing HR documents, reports, and correspondence.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma required;
- Some College and/or Training preferred.
- Must have the ability to work in a high volume and fast-paced work environment.
- Must be organized, analytical and have a sense of urgency for time sensitive delivery.
- Attention to detail, able to document the results of their activities in a consistent, positive, and supportive manner.
- Must have strong teamwork skills and effective interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift more than 15 pounds.
