The HR/Benefits Administrator is responsible for supporting the human resources function with a primary focus on employee benefits administration, HR compliance and employee data management. This role serves as a point of contact for employees regarding benefits, HR policies and processes, ensuring accurate and timely administration while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
- Able to meet the physical demands of the position according to the Physical Demands Analysis
- Assist with day-to-day HR operations
- Keep abreast of changes in HR law to continue to maintain compliance
- Assist with the coordination and development of HR training to employees on company programs, labor relations, State and Federal law, etc.
- Administer employee benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans and leave of absences programs
- Serve as primary contact for employees regarding benefits-related questions, claims issues and plan coverage
- Coordinate open enrollment, benefits communications and employee education sessions as well as distribute materials
- Responsible for various Human Resource programs (i.e., employee assistance program, implementation of new programs, etc.)
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientation, benefits enrollment and exit benefits coordination
- Support payroll with benefits-related deductions, adjustments and
- Maintain and protect the privacy of employee personnel records, including compensation information
- Coordinate transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration
