As a member of the aviation support team, the successful candidate will work under the direction of the Aviation Operations Manager to support the safe and efficient flow of goods and materials from the main camp to field sites. The candidate will work closely with pilots and contractors while loading and unloading aircraft, supporting resupplies, and handling fuel. All this while maintaining an organized, tidy, and efficient laydown area.
Schedule: Rotational – exact schedule TBD, from mid-May to the end of September—12-hour shift.
- Strong safety orientation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Knowledge of helicopter operations.
- Can work independently without close supervision.
- Physically fit, capable of lifting to 50lbs on a repetitive basis.
- 2+ years working with helicopters.- Experience working in a remote camp setting.
- A commitment to working safely and adherence to Snowline’s health & safety policies.
- Work closely with drilling and contractor teams to ensure crews are supplied.
- Conduct and document inspections.
- Work with the operations team to send and receive sling loads and to load and unload planes.
- Maintain a clean and orderly heliport and laydown area.
- Assist with fuel transfers from planes to bladders and into tanks for distribution.
- Safely build loads for helicopter slinging.
- Other tasks as needed.
