Heavy Equipment Repair Specialist

is currently looking for a motivated Mobile Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The individual hired into this position would be responsible for performing mechanical repairs on diesel-powered mobile equipment including troubleshooting and repairs of heavy equipment, rebuilds, removal and installation of mechanical parts, and preventative maintenance on all types of diesel-powered equipment.

Essential Functions

- Ability to work safely at all times

- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant mobile equipment including CAT, Komatsu & Volvo quarry/construction equipment/ diesel engines

- Mechanically inclined on a wide variety of hand tools and power tools

- Weld, cut and perform minor fabrication on plant or mobile equipment

- Other duties as assigned

Education And Experience

- HS Diploma or GED required

- 1 + years of related experience required

- Valid US driver's license

- Experience with CAT, Komatsu & Volvo quarry/construction equipment/ diesel engine repairs

- Certification from a trade school is preferred

- Previous mining experience is a plus

- Bilingual is a plus

- A CDL and a clean driving record is a plus.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position that regularly requires 40+ hours per week in a surface/underground mine setting.
