Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Heavy Equipment Operator based in Timmins, ON. The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to execute tasks such as excavation, surface aggregate handling, material movement, and assisting in environmental reclamation projects. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining equipment to ensure proper functioning and adhering to safety protocols to execute operations smoothly and effectively.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Equipment Operation, including the ability to safely and efficiently handle heavy machinery

- Skills in Equipment Maintenance, ensuring proper upkeep and troubleshooting of machinery

- Experience with Excavation and Heavy Equipment techniques for various construction and reclamation projects

- Understanding of Used Equipment operations and ensuring safe handling

- Commitment to workplace safety and familiarity with safety regulations

- Previous experience in mining, construction, or environmental reclamation work

- Valid operator certifications/license (e.g., heavy equipment operator certification or equivalent) where required
