Responsible for developing and carrying out tests and experiments to gauge the safety levels of products and procedures. Recommends ways to improve safety, participates in recalls of issues that have been reported, and reduces or eliminates hazards by improving products and procedures.
· Work with employees, customers, and the public.
· Provide on-site Health and Safety support as directed.
· Communicate health and safety program with clients.
· Gather safety data and produce meaningful reports and recommendations.
Two-year degree in related field from accredited college/university or 3 years equivalent experience.
OSHA 30 Communication, Conflict Resolution, Leadership, Critical Thinking, Interpersonal, Time and Priority Management, Diversity and Generational Differences in the Workplace and Problem Solving.
Sit for more than two consecutive hours a day, stand for more than four consecutive hours a day. Lift up to fifty pounds.
