General Laborer

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Laborer to join our team in a Job Shop Welding and Machine shop

Duties

- Deliveries and pickups with Shop truck.

- Loading and unloading delivery trucks and flatbeds.

-Material prep with Saws, Shear and Iron Worker.

- Steel Shot Blasting.

- Move parts and materials to and from various work stations with Fork Trucks, Hoists and Overhead Crane.

- Basic vehicle upkeep

- General shop and grounds maintenance and cleaning.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent desired.

- Prior experience in a manufacturing facility or warehouse environment helpful.

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.

- Basic mechanical knowledge.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to efficiently shift between duties as needed.

- Physical stamina and endurance to perform tasks that require heavy lifting, bending, and standing.

- Must have a valid Driver License with a clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 – 46 per week
