Full-Time Lead Rough Framing Carpenter

Job Summary

Pathfinder Construction is hiring a Lead Rough Framing Carpenter to supervise our framing crew and manage structural carpentry work. This role focuses on framing, layout, support systems, and keeping the jobsite safe, efficient, and on schedule.

Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise carpenters and laborers

- Frame walls, floors, and roof systems

- Install beams, posts, bracing, subflooring, and sheathing

- Build rough openings for windows and doors

- Oversee formwork for concrete foundations

- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

- Coordinate with project managers and design staff

- Manage material deliveries, workflow, and quality checks

- Ensure work meets building codes and safety standards

Qualifications

- Strong experience in rough framing and structural carpentry

- Experience leading or training a crew

- Ability to read and work from blueprints

- Skilled with heavy-duty saws, nail guns, and power tools

- Ability to lift, carry, and work safely on active job sites

- Good communication and coordination skills

- Must have a valid driver’s license

- Must have a clean MVR

- Must be able to pass a drug test

Pay: $29.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week

Experience:

- Carpentry: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

- Driver's License (Required)

Willingness to travel:
