Job Description: Carpenter / Framer / Remodeling Specialist

We are a home remodeling company looking for an experienced Carpenter / Framer / Remodeling Specialist to help with residential projects. We need someone who can handle a mix of framing, roofing support, carpentry, kitchen cabinet installation, trim work, repairs, and general remodeling work.

This is a hands-on role for someone who knows how to work on active construction and remodeling job sites. The ideal person can help frame walls, repair wood structures, assist with roofing and roof framing, install cabinets, install doors and trim, and take care of general remodeling tasks around the property.

Responsibilities

- Frame walls, openings, closets, partitions, soffits, blocking, and other wood structures.

- Help with roof-related work, including roof framing, rafters, sheathing, fascia, soffit, wood repairs, and roofing support.

- Assist with roofing repairs, underlayment, shingles, flashing, waterproofing, and exterior roof-related work when needed.

- Install kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, shelving, and built-in wood features.

- Install doors, windows, trim, baseboards, casing, molding, and other finish carpentry.

- Measure, cut, shape, and install lumber, plywood, trim, cabinets, and other construction materials.

- Repair damaged framing, wood structures, subfloors, exterior wood, and interior carpentry.

- Help with remodeling tasks including demolition, layout, prep work, punch-out work, and job site cleanup.

- Read basic measurements, plans, sketches, and instructions from the project manager.

- Make sure all work is level, square, secure, clean, and done correctly.

- Communicate clearly about materials needed, job progress, and any problems found on site.

- Work safely with ladders, saws, drills, nail guns, hand tools, power tools, and construction materials.

Requirements

- Experience with framing, carpentry, roofing support, remodeling, or general construction.

- Ability to frame walls, openings, roof/ceiling areas, and basic wood structures.

- Experience installing kitchen cabinets is a strong plus.

- Experience with roofing, roof repairs, roof framing, sheathing, shingles, or exterior repairs is a plus.

- Must know how to use basic carpentry tools, including tape measure, level, saws, drills, nail gun, square, and hand tools.

- Must be reliable, hardworking, and able to follow instructions.

- Must be able to work on residential remodeling job sites.

- Must be able to lift materials and work safely around construction areas.

- Reliable transportation preferred.

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
