Full Time Cashier

Overview:

We are looking for an organized, dependable team member with a high attention to detail to join us. Great company 46 years family owned. We process scrap metal materials and ship them to various refining companies. The metals are reprocessed into usable materials, helping our environment. Everything we buy is recycled. Must be available to work Monday-Friday 8am - 5:00pm & every other Saturday 8:00am - 1:00pm.

Duties:

- Checking tickets for accuracy

- Answer phones

- Quick learner

- You will need to be good with the public

- Provides a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service

- Verifies customer tickets and driver’s license

Skills:

- Maintain balanced cash register drawer

- Must be able to muti task in a fast paced environment

- Attention to detail

- Counting change

- Basic math skills

- Computer skills

- Resolves customer issues and answers questions.

- Maintains checkout operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.

- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Education and Experience Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent desired

- 1+ years of retail experience desired

- Experience with ROM (a plus)

- Effective communication and customer service skills

- Readily adjusts schedule, tasks, and priorities when necessary to meet business needs
