We are seeking a Bookkeeper with extensive payroll experience to join our team. This role will be heavily focused on payroll, including multi-provincial processing, while also supporting general bookkeeping functions.
- Managing all aspects of payroll processing including multi-provincial payroll for staff across Western Canada
- Support accounts payable, and accounts receivable as required
- Tracking rebates and performing monthly bank reconciliations
- Supporting inventory management and related accounting processes
- Liaising with employees and management to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Contributing to a positive workplace culture through clear communication and teamwork
- Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, with a strong emphasis in payroll
- Demonstrated experience processing multi-provincial payroll (Western Canada experience would be an asset)
- Knowledge of employment standards and payroll compliance across multiple provinces
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization
