We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in QuickBooks and be comfortable managing inter -company bookkeeping. This role will involve both setting up and maintaining accurate records, as well as providing guidance and training on proper systems and processes.
Some set up and maintain company books in QuickBooks for intercompany entities
Establish proper bookkeeping processes and train team members on QuickBooks best practices
Prepare and assist with government reporting, including TRACS, IFTA, GST, payroll remittances, and other compliance filings
(Optional) Continue beyond setup to perform daily entries, reconciliations, and ongoing bookkeeping tasks
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting
Experience with government reporting requirements (TRACS, IFTA, GST, payroll, etc.) is an asset
Ability to train and support staff in maintaining accurate records
Flexibility: option to assist with setup and training only, or remain in an ongoing bookkeeping capacity
